Samia Scholarship Online Application 2022 – Apply hapa

Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has established a funding program called Samia Scholarship. The funding is new in the country for the first degree studies for students who received the highest performance in the form of six 2022 run by the Tanzania Examination Council (NECTA) in Science (PCB, PCM, PGM, CBG, CBA, CBA.)

Samia Scholarship will cover for one hundred percent (100%) university studies for those students who have received the skills in technology, engineering, mathematics and treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RECEIVING FUNDING.

This funding will be given to sixth form graduates with the following qualifications:

1. He should be a Tanzanian
2. He should have a high performance in the sixth form national exams in 2022 conducted by NECTA in science specialties;  
3. He/she has applied for funding in the correct way as directed.
4. He/she has received admission in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Medicine programs in a University in this country that is recognized by the Government that have been mentioned  in the first group (Cluster 1) in the Higher Education Student Loans Board’s Loan Guide for the year 2022/2023 available through www.heslb.go.tz

AREAS OF FUNDING

Funding will comply with the standards and guidelines of the Higher Education Credit Board to cover the following areas:

1. Allowance for books and documents.
2. Special needs of Faculties
3. Practical training Research 
4. Auxiliary equipment for  students with special needs Health Insurance
5. Tuition Fee Food and accommodation allowance Samia Scholarship.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TERMS OF FUNDING:

A student who will receive SAMIA SCHOLARSHIP funding will be responsible for complying with the following conditions: 

1. He should read, understand and sign the Scholarship Agreement
2. Agreement between him and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology;
3. He should have a Bank account.  for the money he will be paid directly.
4. The beneficiary will not be allowed to change the study program he received funding without a written approval letter from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; 
5. The beneficiary will not be allowed to postpone studies, except for health reasons, and confirmed by the relevant college; 
6. If the beneficiary cancels the funding opportunity before starting studies, he/she should submit a written notification to:
