The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) was founded in 1972 under Ministry of Finance in Tanzania. Since its establishment, it stands as the oldest higher learning financial institution in Tanzania and it has been dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and consultancy. Currently, the Institute enrolls more than 9500 students in both certificates, degree and masters’ programmes.
But also, the Institute offers short courses in regular basis to address certain needs in the market. Up to date, the Institute has about 40,000 alumni.

IFM EMS Student Login – Registration, Timetable & Result 2023
IFM EMS formally was known as IFM SIS which is a Secured Student Registration Information System which provides all basic information of students includes registration of new IFM students, timetable and student results.
Through EMS, staff also may access the portal to login in Staff Information System for providing information to their students also to post results of difference exams.
For a student to use the system, you are required to provide your Surname, select program admitted and provide your admission number. Then fill all required information accordingly after login into the system.
To access IFM EMS Student Portal, follow below steps;
- Step One: Click https://ems.ifm.ac.tz/login
- Step Two: Fill all required information (Username and password)
- Step Three: click “Sign in” to login in your Account.
NOTE: For those who forgot their password, click on forgot your password then follow provided information and you will recover your password. Don’t share your password with other because they will see your confidential information.
